ouch my nose
Well we went low...lets go high...
Any good remediy to stop a nose bleed.
I know Matt will tell me 2 fingers pushed up the nose as far as the knuckle will work....
Don;t get me wrong....I don;t have these injuries when we train laugh.gif
Just hoping to educate some of the masses :-)

Re: ouch my nose
I'd say your best bet is just grab some tissue and stand with your nose over the sink for a while. I have something of a twisted nose from having it broken multiple times in my early training, and it's kind of hard to break these days.
I wouldn't say that kind of blood on the Gi would give sympathy or "cred". It more says to me that the person with the bloody Gi was simply too slow to block or avoid the offending attack.
Remember: The most effective way to block a technique is not be there when it lands.

Re: ouch my nose
Hey, have been a first aider for over 10 years now, pinching the bridge of the nose doesnt do anything and tilting the heads back can cause blood to clot in the throat and choke u lol, best way is to pinch the soft part of the nose and lean head forward. The heat of the blood and ur fingers will stop the bleeding fairly quickly normally
