for me it has to be

PERFECT WEAPON
i'm a kenpo chap by heart and love working with speed (the physycal type)
and this is a great film , good story and action combined .
it's the old tale , young lad goes off the rails so his dad enroles him in a local kenpo school (some dicapline).
there he trains hard gets his fair share of knowledge , then defends his brother in a fight and has to leave town , returns years later to avenge his fathers murder .
so a simple enough story line.
the lead role is played by jeff speakman, not realy and actor but a great martial artist , one of ed parkers own students .
ed parker also did the fight arangements too.
so the film has a good kenpo feel (authentic)
some great scenes like the shop (kali arnis )scene, and the 4 onto 1 dojo scene.
one of the only street style martial arts movie that shows form.
most of the fight scenes are kenpo techniques.
so there ya go
my favorite martial arts film .

cheers
matt

Studying traditional Martial Arts..I am a sucker for the old Kurasawa Samurai flicks.

My favorite part of one of them would be Seven Samaurai.

When they were recruiting Samurai they would test them by striking from behind a doorway. The first disarmed the attacker and left feeling insulted. The second used Sakkijutsu and joked with them sensing something was not right.

Sakkijutsu is often refered to within the art I practice as there is a test for Godan (fifth dan) that tests your responces to it.

That aside, it is still a good clip :-)
